"When it was no longer possible for my mom to live alone in her own home, we were fortunate to find her a new home at Johnson Point House. This clean, safe, environment with attentive staff and delicious home-cooked meals, looks and feels like “home,” not a facility. At Johnson Point House, Mom had a generous, private room, as well as access to peaceful communal areas both inside and outdoors. In this warm setting Mom was a respected member of the family, and we were always welcome to visit. Julie went above and beyond to keep us informed and connected, often sending photos and messages to complement our frequent visits.
At Johnson Point House, Mom received excellent and compassionate care throughout her final months. Kind, gentle, and capable souls provided caring attention and for all her needs. This made it possible for each of us to focus on our personal relationships with Mom, and her emotional wellbeing. Watching a loved one decline both physically and mentally is painful. Julie and her caring team provided the expertise and support that we all needed. We are eternally grateful.

Julie's kindness and compassion were exactly what my spouse needed during her late-stage Alzheimer's, following a hip fracture from a fall.
Jacquie had a room filled with personal mementos, she enjoyed gazing out the windows, and her bed offered a serene view. Knowing that Julie was providing her care, I could finally relax, and I witnessed the genuine love Julie had for her.
I was encouraged to visit at any time, but due to a COVID exposure, I had to abstain for a week. During that period, Julie regularly sent me photos and kept me informed about each day's events. Surprisingly, what could have been a challenging time turned out to be a peaceful one for both Jacquie and me. I'm immensely grateful for discovering the Johnson Point House.

At perhaps the most difficult time in my adult life, Julie V. at Johnson Point House provided the most incredible support to my mom and to me. Julie’s home is warm and bright and, from the moment you enter, you feel wrapped in peace. Julie communicated directly with me as things changed for my mom, answered my difficult questions with grace and kindness, and even sent photos of some of my mom’s final meals and smiles. Although most of my interactions with Julie were from long distance, I felt completely connected to my mom. Julie was a great gift to my family; my gratitude is eternal.
